The Junction

Scope of Works: The project comprised the design and construction of 665nr one, two and three bed apartments across five buildings ranging from 13 to 23 storeys in height and restoration of historic viaduct to create a 300m long “highline inspired” external green space connecting the wider development to the City Centre.

In addition to the above the project contained 28,000ft² of commercial and retail space located across 13 serviced plots within the arches of the existing viaduct.

The project construction cost was in excess of £100m, at the time the largest PRS development in the North.

The project completed in 2023.

Jamie provided Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services for both pre and post contract. The works were procured through a negotiated tender utilising JCT Design and Build form of contract.

The scheme has since gone on to win various awards for its architectural design, heritage consideration and also the workmanship of various packages such as the feature brickwork.
